Here is the
second coming of the 1979 Trans Am for me. After selling my first
Trans Am years ago, I was lucky enough to find this great car on eBay.
I bought the car from the original owner, and I verified the car with
the Pontiac Historical Society. It has all the options, all power,
including the rare power antenna on the front fender. This was
usually reserved for the 10th Anniversary cars only, and very few non
Anniversary cars have them. As of January 2005, the miles are
45,000. I flew up to Seattle WA from Southern CA, and drove it
home, with no issues. Everything on the car works like new,
including the tach and clock. The new radio just rocks, and the
famous WS-6 makes this car corner like it is on rails. My plans
are to take it to some Pontiac shows, and just have fun. It has
never been in the rain, and I will always keep it in the garage, and
covered.

2005 Pontiac/Oakland/GMC
Regional Convention
September 30; October 1-2, 2005
The 2005 Pontiac Western Regional Convention was held at Bass Lake
this year. It was a great venue, and a nice car show.
Approximately 186 cars made it to this event. I took my 1979
Blue Trans Am, and my son drive his 2000 NHRA Trans Am up for the
event. It took us just over five hours, and we made it with out
any issues and break downs. I was lucky at this event, and took
first place in the stock 1970-1981 category. Every one treated
us great, and the event was done well. A great group of Pontiac
people to be sure.
