I bought this car in December 2005 on eBay to be a daily driver.  I really wanted a Firebird 400 daily driver, but could not afford it at the time.  I had the red 1969 Firebird, but could not bring myself to drive it every day since it only had 88K original miles.  So I found this car on eBay up in Yosemite CA.  A 1971 Le Mans 400 with 143K miles.  Every thing worked on the car, but with the 2 barrel carburetor, it is anything but fast in stock condition.  The only options it has are A/C, bucket seats and console, and automatic transmission.  The stock radio is long gone, replaced with a nice CD placer.  I tried to be happy with it, but it just wasn't the same as a Firebird.  I have kept it and drive it once in a while, but I will be selling it this year.  I might get that Classic 1969 Firebird driver, or just use the money to buy gas for the other cars.  I need loan money just to fill the cars up now on "gas the car day"!!
